1. Introduction
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of services provided by LM Research & Marketing Consultancy (“LM Research”, “we”, “us”, “our”) in partnership with Market Research UK Agency (“MRUKA”). By accessing our websites, commissioning services, or engaging with our consultancy, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use our services.
2. Definitions
- Client / You – Any individual, business, organisation, or representative engaging our services.
- Services – Market research, consultancy, analysis, marketing strategy, data collection, reporting, and any other professional services provided by LM Research and MRUKA.
- Deliverables – Reports, insights, data sets, presentations, or any materials produced as part of the Services.
- Partnership – LM Research and MRUKA collaborate on selected projects but remain independent entities.
3. Scope of Services
We provide professional research and marketing consultancy services, including but not limited to:
- Market research and analysis
- Consumer insights
- Marketing strategy development
- Data collection and survey design
- Competitor analysis
- Brand and communications consultancy
- Reporting and presentation of findings
The specific scope will be defined in a written proposal, quotation, or contract.
4. Client Responsibilities
Clients agree to:
- Provide accurate, timely information required for project delivery
- Ensure they have the legal right to share any data or materials supplied
- Review deliverables promptly and provide feedback within agreed timelines
- Comply with all applicable laws when using our insights or data
We are not responsible for delays caused by incomplete or inaccurate client information.
5. Fees, Payment & Invoicing
- Fees will be outlined in a written proposal or contract.
- Unless otherwise agreed, invoices are payable within 14 days of issue.
- Late payments may incur interest at the statutory rate permitted in the UK.
- Work may be paused or withheld if payment terms are not met.
- All fees are exclusive of VAT unless stated otherwise.
6. Intellectual Property
- All methodologies, frameworks, and proprietary tools remain the intellectual property of LM Research and MRUKA.
- Upon full payment, clients receive a licence to use the final deliverables for internal business purposes only.
- Deliverables may not be resold, published, or distributed externally without written permission.
7. Confidentiality
Both parties agree to maintain strict confidentiality regarding:
- Business information
- Research data
- Client materials
- Project findings
Confidentiality obligations survive termination of the contract.
8. Data Protection & Privacy
We comply with UK GDPR, the Data Protection Act 2018, and all relevant privacy regulations.
- Personal data is processed lawfully and securely.
- Data collected for research purposes is anonymised unless otherwise agreed.
- Clients must ensure any data they provide has been lawfully obtained.

9. Accuracy & Limitations of Research
Market research is based on data samples, respondent input, and statistical modelling. While we strive for accuracy:
- Findings represent insights, not guarantees
- Forecasts are indicative and subject to external variables
- We are not liable for business decisions made based on research outputs
Clients are responsible for interpreting and applying insights appropriately.
10. Third‑Party Services
Where third‑party tools, platforms, or data sources are used:
- We are not responsible for their performance, accuracy, or availability
- Clients agree to comply with any relevant third‑party terms
11. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- We exclude liability for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses
- Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific project
- Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, negligence, or matters that cannot be excluded by law
12. Cancellation & Termination
Either party may terminate a project with written notice. Upon termination:
- Work completed up to the termination date must be paid in full
- Deposits or retainers are non‑refundable unless otherwise agreed
- Intellectual property rights revert to LM Research and MRUKA unless paid in full

By using our websites, you agree not to:
- Engage in unlawful or harmful activities
- Copy or reproduce website content without permission
- Attempt to breach security or access restricted areas
